Guna Vadlapati has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Guna started their career as an Application Consultant Lead at Singapore Airlines from June 2000 to December 2004. Guna then worked as a Lead Database Administrator at Nissan Motor Corporation from April 2005 to December 2010. Guna joined the State of Tennessee as a Programming Analyst IV from December 2010 to March 2012. Guna then served as a Senior Application Engineer at HCA Healthcare from March 2012 to February 2013. Guna worked as a Sr Database Architecture at MEDHOST from March 2013 to May 2015. Guna then joined Davita Healthcare as a Sr Database Administrator from August 2015 to December 2017. Currently, Guna holds the position of Principal Software Development Engineer at The Cigna Group, where they have been working since January 2019.

Guna Vadlapati earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Sri Venkateswara University during the period of 1991 to 1994. Following this, Guna pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications at Bharathidasan University from 1994 to 1997.
