Jim Robinson

Jim Robinson is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and technology services. Currently serving as the Infrastructure Engineering Senior Director at The Cigna Group since October 2022, Jim focuses on Application Platform and Managed File Transfer services, overseeing a diverse team of engineering, operations, and support professionals. Prior to this role, Jim had a successful tenure at Cigna from 1993 to 2022, including positions such as Director of Information Technology Services and Director of IT Middleware Infrastructure Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed middleware solutions, data movement, and application integration. Jim's career began as a Mainframe Application Developer, transitioning through various roles that showcased both technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Jim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Western New England University and an A.A.S. in Business Administration and Management from Springfield Technical Community College.
