Karl Mattson

Karl Mattson is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Field CISO at Noname Security since July 2021, Karl also holds positions as a Socio at The CISO Society, Advisory Board Member at both Cyberstarts and YL Ventures, and a member of the WSJ CIO Council. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer at PennyMac Loan Services, President and Chair of the Advisory Board at LA Cyber Lab, and a Senior Fellow at the University of Minnesota's Technological Leadership Institute. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems from Boston University and an MBA from Auburn University, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Mary's University. Additionally, Karl has been actively involved with the CNBC Technology Executive Council and Team8, further demonstrating a commitment to the cybersecurity community.
