Shannon Zheng

Shannon Zheng serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Vice President of IT at OppFi since April 2021, where Shannon established and advanced the information security program during a pivotal startup-to-public transition. In addition to this role, Shannon is a member of The CISO Society and previously held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Fay Financial from January 2017 to April 2021. Prior to that, Shannon worked at Spencer Stuart from April 2004 to September 2016, taking on various leadership roles in Information Security, IT Shared Services, and Software Engineering, focusing on transforming technology teams and leading enterprise-wide initiatives. Shannon began the professional career as a Consultant at Solution Partners, Inc. from 2000 to 2004. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance & Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Xiamen University.
