Juliet Shen

Juliet Shen, MLA, serves as the Marketing Communications Manager for the City of Burlington, Vermont’s Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront Department since October 2022. Prior to this, Juliet Shen managed digital communications through Juliet Shen Productions from 2009 to 2022, providing strategic planning and media production for a diverse clientele. Past roles also include Director of Communications for Defend Our Health, where a brand overhaul was executed, and communications management positions within the City of Philadelphia's Office of Children and Families and Mayor's Office of Education. Additional experience includes digital production for Technically Media and a background in high-quality media production at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education Video Lab. Juliet Shen’s professional journey began in the culinary arts as a pastry chef and baker at esteemed establishments. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Environmental Communication & Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University.
