Will Clavelle has a diverse work experience. Will started their career as a Customer Service Representative at People's United Bank, N.A. in 2011, where they performed tasks such as servicing loans and assisting customers with banking services. Will then worked as an Airport Facilities Property Manager at Burlington International Airport in 2012. In 2013, they joined Janus Capital Group as a Product Specialist, responsible for managing and promoting investment products. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Associate Operations and Compliance at Champlain Investment Partners, LLC. In 2016, they served as a Sustainable Housing Consultant at CEMEX. Starting from 2017, they joined the City of Burlington, Vermont, first working as a Program and Project Specialist, then as an Economic Development Specialist at CEDO. From 2020 to 2022, they held the role of Business Support and Policy Manager, and currently, they are the Assistant Director of Business Development.
Will Clavelle completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Sustainability Studies from the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business in the 2015-2016 academic year. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business and Economics from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, during their undergraduate studies, they also attended the University of Menendez Pelayo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Spanish, completing their studies within the same year.

Burlington is the largest city in the State of Vermont with a population of nearly 40,000. The city covers 15.5 square miles on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. There are four colleges in the city including the University of Vermont, (UVM). The University is located overlooking the city on a 451-acre campus which includes undergraduate, graduate, and medical schools. In addition there are two colleges within the city: Champlain College which occupies more than 40 buildings on over 22 acres, as well as Burlington College, which is smaller in size.
