J. Ricky Arriola serves as the Miami Beach City Commissioner since November 2015, previously holding the position of CEO at Inktel Holdings Corp since 2000. Arriola is a Henry Crown Fellow at The Aspen Institute, focusing on developing community-centered leadership. A former board member of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities under President Obama, Arriola also served on the Board of Trustees of the Miami Art Museum and held various roles with the Democratic National Committee, Young Presidents' Organization, and American Teleservices Association. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from St. John's University School of Law, and a BA in Economics from Boston College.
