Brian Lightfoot

Brian Lightfoot is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in municipal real estate management and development. Currently serving as the Manager of Real Estate for the City of North Vancouver since December 2020, Brian is responsible for strategic planning of civic assets and overseeing a team of Real Estate professionals, managing acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of city property. Prior to this role, Brian worked for the City of Vancouver from June 2011 to December 2020 as a Property Development Officer, where responsibilities included financial analysis of development proposals and negotiating Community Amenity Contributions to secure public benefits. Earlier experience as a Property Negotiator involved negotiating leases and managing property-related budgets. Brian's career began as a Real Estate Appraiser at Westech Appraisal Services Ltd. from May 2002 to June 2011. Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Real Estate from The University of British Columbia.
