Kelly Ring is an experienced laboratory and environmental analyst with a diverse background in aquatic ecotoxicology and water quality testing. Currently serving as a Lab Specialist at the City of Pleasanton since November 2023, Kelly previously held positions as a Chemist I at Delta Diablo and an Environmental Analyst at the City of Pinole. Expertise includes conducting sampling, analytical, and microbiological testing on wastewater and recycled water, adhering to NPDES permit requirements, and performing acute and chronic bioassays with various aquatic species. Kelly's extensive experience includes water quality assessments, compliance inspections, and data management across several municipal and environmental entities. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology, Kelly has also contributed to research initiatives focused on pollinator populations and ecosystem health.
