The City of Rocky Mount
Kenneth Hunter is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as the Assistant To The City Manager for Budget and Evaluation at The City of Rocky Mount since December 2006. Responsible for managing a $220-million annual budget for a municipality serving over 55,000 residents, Kenneth also trains approximately 50 employees in budget management and financial analysis. Additionally, Kenneth teaches courses in the Masters of Public Administration program at both North Carolina State University and East Carolina University, while actively participating in the Association for Budgeting & Financial Management as an executive committee member and newsletter editor. Previous roles include positions as a Budget Analyst for the City of Manassas, Virginia, and as President of the Rocky Mount Area Jaycees, where significant achievements in membership and community service were realized. Kenneth holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Tennessee Technological University.
