Michael Mills II

Michael Mills II has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a School Resource Officer with The City of Rocky Mount since October 2015, where responsibilities include investigating serious violations, coordinating with juvenile courts, and developing safety strategies for schools. Previous roles include Police Officer, sUAS Operator, Crisis Negotiator, and S.R.T. Member. Prior to this, Mills worked for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety as a Correctional Officer and Tactical Rife Operator. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mills has held positions as a Military Training Instructor and Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. Educational credentials include numerous tactical and law enforcement certificates from various institutions, reflecting ongoing professional development in areas such as crisis intervention, drug enforcement, and specialized tactical training.
