Jonathan Cortez

Jonathan Cortez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Associate Controller at The Claremont Colleges Services since March 2020, Jonathan previously held the position of Director of Finance at Pitzer College from January 2016 to March 2020. Prior work experience includes positions as Senior Accountant at San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Accounting Manager - Financial Operations at Bank of America, and Senior Financial Systems Analyst/Accounting Manager at SIGMAnet. Jonathan holds an Executive MBA in Strategy, Leadership, and Management from Claremont Graduate University, where education also included a certificate program in Tribal Administration and a certificate program in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, focusing on Accounting and Finance, from the University of Santo Tomas.
