Vivek Ananda

Vivek Ananda currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County since December 2024. Prior to this role, Vivek held the position of Director of Information Technology at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from November 2019 to December 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as an Enterprise Architect for the Chicago Police Department and Chief Information Officer for both the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice. Additionally, Vivek worked as the Information Technology Manager for the Illinois State Police - Forensic Command and as a Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle. Vivek's career began as a Senior Software Development Specialist at CDSI. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
