Rachel Leffel

Rachel Leffel, CDP, currently serves as Operations Manager at Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center, a position held since 2006, while also fulfilling the role of Contract ASL Interpreter. Previous experience includes community interpreting at Purple Communications, Inc., and work as a Group Home Site Manager and Deaf Services Liaison at JFSA Cleveland. With a background in educational settings, Rachel functioned as an American Sign Language Interpreter for Beachwood City Schools and directed the Beachwood Schools District Sign Choir, focusing on Deaf culture and ASL for elementary students. Rachel holds a Management & Technology degree from Bowling Green State University and an Associate Degree in ASL Interpreting and Transliterating from The University of Akron.
