Gabrielle Smith

Gabrielle Smith is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as the Executive Sous Chef at The Cliffs since September 2023, overseeing daily operations and managing a team of 16. Previously, Gabrielle held the position of Head Chef at Vintage Kitchen Oslo, where operations included menu development and service of Danish-French cuisine. Gabrielle has also led the kitchen at Sentralenmat and opened MAD at BAR, contributing significantly to menu creation and teamwork in high-pressure environments. With a strong foundation in culinary arts from The Culinary Institute of America and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, Gabrielle possesses extensive experience in various culinary roles ranging from teaching assistant to line cook, demonstrating leadership and expertise in managing staff, budgets, and guest satisfaction across multiple dining establishments.
