Rafael Savastürk has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Can Rafael started their career as an Intern at Daimler AG in 2018, where they developed Python tools for efficient and automated tests on the contents of a REST-API. Can Rafael also worked on the visualization and communication of data processing chain's problems under the principles of user-centered data design.
After their internship, Rafael worked as a Working Student: Django Developer at ETAS from October 2018 to February 2020. Can Rafael also gained experience in deploying a Django application on the Google Cloud Platform's App Engine and configuring a flexible App Engine Docker Container.
Currently, Rafael is working as a Back End Developer at THE CLIMATE CHOICE since October 2021. Can Rafael is involved in the development of a climate data-driven B2B cloud-based platform for decarbonizing companies and their supply chains. The platform offers granular data points and ratings to help companies manage their climate-related opportunities and risks.
Rafael Savastürk pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Mobile Media from Stuttgart Media University, which was completed from 2016 to 2022. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Vienna, where they are currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics since 2023.
