Han Liu

Han (Grace) Liu is a Senior AI Scientist at Climate since September 2020, previously serving as an AI Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at UC Davis from September 2015 to September 2020, focusing on monitoring California rangeland with remote sensing data, developing algorithms for forage production modeling, landcover classification, and data fusion. Han also contributed as a Lecturer for a course on Environmental Monitoring using small Unmanned Aerial Systems, and as a Teaching Assistant for remote sensing labs. Earlier internships included Ag Data Insights and Discovery at The Climate Corporation and research work at Nanjing University on time series filtering methods. Han holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Nanjing University, along with completing an exchange program in the same field at National Central University.
