Nehmat Kaur

Nehmat Kaur is the Head of Subnational Governments and Under2 at Climate Group, leading engagement with over 100 states and regions committed to ambitious climate action. Nehmat is also the Senior Manager, Government Relations - South Asia at UN Climate Change, overseeing the Race To Zero campaign. With a background in renewable energy, economic development, and advocacy, Nehmat has a strong foundation in climate policy and sustainability. Nehmat holds an MSc in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College For Women.
