Keith Friedenberg M.D.

Keith Friedenberg MD, MBA has extensive experience in the field of gastroenterology and medical research. Keith started their career as a Staff Gastroenterologist at LANE GASTROENTEROLOGY ASSOCIATES, P.C. In 2004, they founded Great Lakes Gastroenterology LLC and served as the Physician and Managing Partner. Under their leadership, the practice grew to become the largest GI practice on the east side of Cleveland, with a thriving ASC and research department.

In 2005, Keith Friedenberg started working as a Medicolegal Consultant, providing expert witness and medical consulting services for complex legal cases related to gastroenterology. Keith gained a reputation for their skills in this area and was frequently sought out by attorneys and firms.

In 2006, they developed The Endoscopy Center of Lake County, a free-standing Ambulatory Surgery Center dedicated to Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and served as the Medical Director. Keith was responsible for overseeing all management decisions, including financial, quality, and operational aspects of the center.

In 2011, Keith Friedenberg founded GREAT LAKES MEDICAL RESEARCH LLC, a medical research site that became well-known as the largest Gastroenterology clinical trial site in Ohio. Keith served as the CEO and principal investigator on over 120 clinical trials, consistently producing high-quality work. The site was highly sought after by the industry.

Lastly, in 2018, Keith Friedenberg became the CEO of The Clinical Trials Network (CTNx). In this role, they work with private practices and the pharmaceutical industry to develop new clinical trial sites. The focus is on creating managed networks in the same specialty to increase patient access to clinical trials while maintaining a commitment to quality.

Keith Friedenberg earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University from 1980 to 1984. Keith then pursued their medical education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, obtaining their Doctor of Medicine degree from 1984 to 1988. Later, in 2018 to 2020, they further enhanced their qualifications by completing an MBA in the Business of Medicine at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
