James Suarez is a Partner and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator at Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad since 2024. Previously, they were a Partner at Stone Glass & Connolly from 2013 to 2024, and at Boyd Santini Parker & Collonelli from 2003 to 2009. Suarez also served as a Shareholder at Franklin Legal Group between 2009 and 2013, and as an Associate at Wallace Bauman Legon Ponce Fodiman & Shannon from 1999 to 2003. They are currently the Co-Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and Vice President of CLM's Miami Chapter at CLM Alliance, starting in 2025. Suarez holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Florida International University and a Doctor of Law (JD) from The George Washington University Law School.
