Mark A. Sterling

Mark A. Sterling has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mark A. started their career at Hogan & Hartson in 1979 as a Partner in the Health Law Practice. In 1993, they joined VITAS Healthcare Corporation as a Senior Vice President and stayed until 1999. Mark A. then returned to Hogan Lovells in 2000, where they became a Partner in the Health Law Practice until 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they served as Of Counsel in the Health Law Practice at Hogan Lovells. In 2016, they took on the role of Chief Strategy Officer at The Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC) and they became a Senior Fellow at The Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School in 2016. In 2017, they joined Respecting Choices as a Senior Strategic Advisor.

Mark A. Sterling earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1976. Mark A. then pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the same university, completing it in 1978. Later, from 1976 to 1979, they attended the University of Michigan Law School and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. In 2014, Sterling briefly studied at Harvard University, although the field of study and degree obtained during this period are not specified.
