Alison Kwan

Alison Kwan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alison currently holds the position of Head of Operations at The Coders Guild, where they have been since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the People and Performance Manager at the same company from January 2023 to October 2023.

Before joining The Coders Guild, Alison worked at Luminate Education Group from November 2020 to January 2023. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Group Funding and Partnerships Manager, Group Project & Development Coordinator, and Progress and Performance Officer.

Alison's previous experiences include working as a Regional Fundraising Coordinator at Centrepoint from August 2019 to October 2020. Alison also served as a Project Manager for Women's Empowerment in Central Vietnam (WECV) at Evergreen Labs from September 2017 to September 2018. Additionally, they worked as an English Second Language Teacher at ILA Vietnam from September 2017 to September 2018 and at Apollo English Vietnam from October 2015 to May 2017.

Alison Kwan holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Sheffield, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Alison further pursued their education at the University of Leeds, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Global Development and Gender from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alison has also obtained certifications in Advanced Monitoring and Evaluation Systems from INTRAC and in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA and TKT) from Cambridge Assessment English.
