Janine Mothershed CPC,CPC-I has a wealth of experience in the medical coding field. In 2022, they became the President of Coeur d Alene Coding Chapter. Prior to that, they were the Founder & CEO of Coding Clarified from 2015-2022. Coding Clarified is an intensive 16-week, instructor-led program designed for students to hit the ground running, with 98% of students passing the CPC exam on the first attempt. From 2010-2015, they were the Director of Operations EMS Division at The Coding Network, where they were responsible for the Ambulance Division, completing as many as 30K charts per month. Her biggest contributions included building the infrastructure, streamlining operations, and separating billing from coding.

Janine Mothershed has a Certified Professional Coding (CPC) certification, which they earned in 2005-2006 from the Professional Coding Curriculum in the field of Medical Coding. Janine also has a Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPCI) certification, which they earned in 2015 from the Professional Instructor Curriculum.
