Serena Magrogan

Serena Magrogan currently serves as the Senior Director of Advanced Placement Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at The College Board, a position held since January 2011, where responsibilities include preserving the quality and validity of the Advanced Placement Program’s curriculum and assessments by leading expert committees and facilitating communication between academics and technical specialists. Previous roles include Director of AP Research and AP Science Curriculum & Content Development at The College Board, Secondary Science Instructional Specialist and AP Teacher at Fort Bend ISD, and Curriculum Director at Northside Urban Pathways Charter School. Serena's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Centenary College of Louisiana, a Doctorate in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and various other degrees and graduate work in the fields of science and education.
