David Proper is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication roles across various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Sr. Communications Officer at The Colorado Health Foundation since October 2022, David has previously held the position of Director of Communications & Development at The Blue Bench from September 2019 to October 2022. David's background includes directing communications for the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver from December 2012 to August 2015, managing online engagement at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains from November 2010 to November 2012, and overseeing communications at Colorado Access from March 2006 to November 2010. David holds a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in English from Utica University.
