Parker Yamasaki

Parker Yamasaki is a Poynter-Koch Journalism Fellow at The Colorado Sun, specializing in arts and culture reporting. Parker has also held positions as a freelance copywriter at Grammarly, a freelance writer for Chicago Reader and Newcity, and as an Editorial Fellow at Sierra Magazine. Parker has a Master of Arts in New Arts Journalism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
