Matthew McCoy

Matthew McCoy has extensive work experience in the energy services industry. Matthew'smost recent role was as the Chief Operating Officer at The Colt Group starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President Operations - Wireline at Ranger Energy Services, LLC from 2021 to 2023. Matthew was responsible for leading the Ranger Energy Service Wireline team and integrating the PerfX, Mallard, and Patriot wireline businesses.

Before joining Ranger Energy Services, McCoy worked at Basic Energy Services as the Director of Service Delivery from 2020 to 2021. Matthew also held the position of Vice President Operations at Brigade Energy Services from 2019 to 2020.

From 2014 to 2019, McCoy worked at Shawcor, where they served as the VP Operations - Integrity Management from 2017 to 2019 and VP Training Development and Quality - Inspection Services from 2014 to 2017. In these roles, they implemented organizational structures, facilitated the integration of companies, and achieved operational excellence.

Prior to Shawcor, McCoy had various roles at Schlumberger from 1998 to 2014. These roles included Wireline Sales & Marketing Manager, Wireline Operations Manager for Central and West Africa, Kellyville Training Center Manager, Operations Manager Wireline - Western Gulf of Mexico, New Technology Development - Product Champion, Service Quality Coach and Field Service Manager Wireline Base, and General Field Engineer - Wireline.

In addition to their energy services experience, McCoy also served as the Board Chairman for the International School of Pointe Noire from 2011 to 2012, where they contributed to the growth and construction of the school.

Matthew McCoy attended West Virginia University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
