Mark Lomax, II, D.M.A., serves as the Director of Arts and Generational Grantmaking at The Columbus Foundation, focusing on building pathways to success for Opportunity Youth since April 2016. With extensive experience as a self-employed musician encompassing roles as a composer, recording artist, performer, and educator since 1991, Mark has also contributed significantly to youth programming at Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus in various positions from 2011 to 2016, including Sr. Teen Programming Director and Teen Creative Arts Coordinator. Mark's educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts, a Master of Music, and a Bachelor of Music, all in Music Composition from The Ohio State University.
