Andrew Shainker is an accomplished educator and photographer with over ten years of experience in journalism and teaching. Currently serving as the Director of Student Media and Journalism Education at The Columbus School, Andrew manages the school newspaper, "The Discoverer," and is passionate about fostering student engagement in journalism and the English language. As the owner of Andrew Shainker Photography, Andrew specializes in event, wedding, and portrait photography, showcasing a keen eye for detail and storytelling. Prior roles include teaching English and history at The Canadian School and developing innovative curricula at various institutions. Andrew Shainker's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Education and multiple teaching certifications, underpinning a strong commitment to educational excellence.
