Carla Daniel

Carla Daniel is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Talent at The Column Group since 2015, where key responsibilities include overseeing recruiting efforts for early-stage drug discovery companies. Prior to this role, Carla operated as a Consultant from 2007 to 2015, providing project-based sourcing for life sciences positions, and worked at Genentech as a Sourcing Consultant from 2005 to 2007. Earlier experience includes serving as Human Resources & Recruiting Manager and Research Associate at Tularik from 1996 to 2002, as well as academic roles at UC Santa Cruz, where Carla was an Instructor in Experimental Biology while completing graduate studies.
