Brad Perkins

Co-Founder & Chief Medical Advisor at The Commons Project Foundation

Brad Perkins is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Advisor at The Commons Project Foundation. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder, Director, and CEO of Sapiens Data Science from January 2018 to February 2020. From April 2014 to December 2017, they served as the Chief Medical Officer of Human Longevity, Inc. where they were responsible for leading all clinical and therapeutic operations. This included collecting and utilizing phenotype data, development of the consumer clinics business, and guiding stem cell therapeutics. Prior to that, Perkins served as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of Vanguard Health Systems from June 2009 to October 2013. Brad also served on the RAND Health Advisory Board. From December 2003 to May 2009, they were the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Brad Perkins earned their MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Brad then completed their residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, where they also served as Chief Medical Resident. After becoming Board Certified in Internal Medicine, they earned their MD from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine. Brad completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a BA in Microbiology.
