Tawanda Hondora

Tawanda Hondora, PhD has a vast experience in legal and policy-related roles, with a focus on human rights, rule of law, and international advocacy. Currently, they lead the Rule of Law department at The Commonwealth, overseeing strategic goals on building effective frameworks for access to justice. Prior to this, they served as Executive Director at the World Federalist Movement and held senior roles at Humanity United and Amnesty International. Tawanda Hondora, PhD also has a strong background in commercial and public law, having worked as a Legal Advisor and Solicitor in various firms. Their educational background includes a PhD in Law and Finance, an LLM in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, and a LL.B. in Law.
