The Community Closet is a student-run organization focused on helping Bay Area students access clothing and basic essentials so they can feel comfortable, prepared, and confident at school. Its mission is to remove the stress of unmet basic needs, whether that means a jacket, shoes, a backpack, or other essentials, so students can focus more fully on their education and future.

TCC is run by a selective 10-member team chosen from over 250 applicants. The team manages outreach, branding, donations, and event coordination, and is currently under review for nonprofit status. The organization accepts donations, hosts drives and events, and works to support students “one less worry at a time.”
