Michael Tan has extensive experience in education and legal fields, currently serving as the Director of The Center for Alternative and Supported Education at the Community College of Baltimore County since 2010. In this role, Michael oversees programs providing academic courses and career training to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Michael teaches as an Adjunct Professor for the Single Step program, focusing on subjects beneficial to adults with learning differences. As a Director and board member of The Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre since 2008, Michael has held various officer positions. Prior legal experience includes roles as In House Counsel at Integrated Health Services, Inc. and an Associate at Tydings and Rosenberg. Michael's educational background includes advanced degrees in counseling and theology, alongside a law degree from Washington & Lee University.
