Dave VanEsselstyn

Dave VanEsselstyn is an educational technologist currently working as an Executive Director of User Experience Research at Chase/J.P. Morgan. He has worked across a range of industries including stints at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia University, Wireless Generation, Amplify, MakerBot, and Scholastic. He also co-founded Brooklyn Robot Foundry, a makerspace for kids with several locations across New York City. VanEsselstyn holds a B.S. from Tufts University, where he majored in English, Biology, and Environmental Studies, a master’s degree from Teachers College, and a Ph.D. from Columbia in Human Cognition and Learning.
