Charles Byrd

Program Manager Reach at The Connection

Charles Byrd possesses extensive experience in program management and clinical roles within the community services and corrections sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager for the Re-Entry Assisted Community Housing program at The Connection, Inc. since March 2017, Byrd also has a long-standing role as a Clinician with the Community Renewal Team, Inc., where responsibilities include conducting substance abuse and mental health assessments for the Connecticut Department of Corrections and the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons. Additionally, Byrd has been a business owner at CMB Sportscards and Memorabilia since January 1995, specializing in the buying and selling of sports cards and memorabilia. Previous roles include Program Manager at Milford AIC and Substance Abuse Counselor at Community Solutions Incorporated. Byrd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a focus on Counseling Psychology from Post University, earned between 1989 and 1993.

The Connection
