Vice President Of Community Conservation at The Conservation Foundation

Alison Paul has extensive work experience in the field of environmental conservation and education. Alison currently holds the position of Vice President of Community Conservation at The Conservation Foundation, where they oversee various local conservation programs and is responsible for developing and expanding the organization's community conservation approach. Prior to this role, Alison worked as a Forest Therapy Guide at the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Before their current position, Alison spent several years at The Field Museum, first as the Senior Program Manager for the Chicago Region and later as the Youth Conservation Action Manager and Chicago Region Manager. In these roles, they led strategic planning, program implementation, and evaluation for the museum's environmental education programs, while also managing staff, fundraising, budgeting, and forging partnerships to support the museum's mission.

Alison's earlier work experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at DePaul University, where they provided research support on various topics related to education and empowerment. Alison also worked with Witness for Peace as part of their International Team, planning and leading educational delegations to war-torn regions of Colombia and Bolivia and supporting advocacy efforts for human rights. Additionally, Alison worked as a Campaign Coordinator for the U.S./Labor Education in the Americas Project, leading campaigns to improve working conditions for Latin American workers and advocating for labor rights at high-profile meetings and through speaker tours.

Through their diverse work experience, Alison has demonstrated their dedication to environmental conservation, education, and advocacy for social and labor rights.

Alison Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Loyola University Chicago from 1999 to 2003. Alison then pursued further education at DePaul University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Social and Cultural Foundations in Education from 2009 to 2012.
