Nadey Hakim

Vice President Conservative Health at The Conservative Party

Nadey Hakim has extensive work experience in the medical field. Nadey currently holds the position of Professor of General Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, which they started in May 2023. Nadey also serves as the International Relations Director at The Cleveland Clinic London since May 2023. Additionally, they have held the role of UK President at the American College of Surgeons since October 2020. Nadey is also a Council Member at The Transplantation Society and an Ambassador APPG at Parliament UK. In previous positions, they have served as a Responsible Officer at Medicare Francais and as a Consultant Surgeon at Imperial College London. Nadey has also held various leadership roles in organizations such as the Conservative Party and the International Medical Sciences Academy.

Nadey Hakim's education history includes multiple degrees and training in the medical field. Nadey completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Université Paris Cité between 1976 and 1983, with a specialization in Surgery. After that, they pursued further education and training, including a PhD in Small Bowel Transplantation from UCL, which they obtained between 1987 and 1990. Additionally, they completed a Transplantation Fellowship from the University of Minnesota from 1993 to 1995. Nadey also undertook a Gastrointestinal Fellowship from Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine between 1987 and 1989. Furthermore, they received Surgical Training from King's College London from 1983 to 1987.
