Simone Raquel Alexander

Simone Raquel Alexander is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engagement and accessibility within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Engagement and Accessibility at The Contemporary Austin since August 2017, Simone has also held roles as Visitor Relations Manager and Development Assistant within the organization. Additionally, since December 2020, Simone has been the Director of Development at Ground Floor Theatre and has been the Producing Artistic Director at New Manifest Theatre Company since 2018. Prior experience includes positions at OKC Philharmonic, where responsibilities encompassed customer service and public relations, URS Corporation in administrative support, and teaching assistance at Oklahoma Children's Theatre. Early career experience includes acting at Lyric Theatre Oklahoma. Simone holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting/Directing from Oklahoma City University and completed the Emerge program through Leadership Austin in 2022.
