Zoely RAMANASE has extensive experience working in various environmental and sustainability roles. From 2015 to present, Zoely has worked as a Senior Consultant for several organizations including the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA), Tetra Tech, Catholic Relief Services, DAI, World Wildlife Fund, Missouri Botanical Garden, UNDP, Catholic Relief Services, World Wildlife Fund, and Pact. Zoely has held positions such as Project Director, Environmental Compliance Specialist, Sustainable Development Specialist, and Consultant Senior in various environmental and climate change projects. Their responsibilities have included strategic planning, environmental compliance, biodiversity and forest analysis, landscape management, and sustainability planning. Zoely has also been involved in project development, partner meetings, and evaluation of environmental projects.
Zoely Ramanase's education history includes a Master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Antananarivo, obtained from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, they have a degree in Environmental Leadership and Sustainable Development, with a field of study in Sustainable Environment, from the University of California, Berkeley- College of Natural Resources, obtained in 2006. They also have various certifications in areas such as value chain analysis, environmental leadership, and leadership and supervisory skills.
