Samantha Paterson is a seasoned professional in government relations and strategic initiatives, currently serving as the Government Relations and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator for The Corporation of the Town of Ajax since February 2022. Prior to this role, Samantha held various positions at the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade from April 2018 to February 2022, including Director of Policy and Stakeholder Relations and Communications & Policy Specialist. With a strong background in broadcasting, Samantha worked as a Morning News Anchor and Reporter at Durham Radio Inc. from November 2009 to April 2018, as well as holding positions at Rogers Communications and CHUM Radio. Samantha began the career in radio as News Director & Morning Cohost at Moose FM - Haliburton Broadcasting Group from 2006 to 2007. Samantha holds a diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, completed in 2006.
