Mel Pollock

Mel Pollock has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and construction field. From 2008 to present, Mel has served as the Vice President of Engineering at The Corradino Group, overseeing and managing various projects and coordinating with different organizations. Prior to that, Mel worked at the Florida Department of Transportation for 8 years, starting as a Professional Engineer Trainee and eventually becoming an Operations Engineer and Permits and Contracts Engineer. During this time, Mel was responsible for construction oversight, maintenance management, and permit administration for the state roadway system in Palm Beach County.

Mel Pollock earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering - Construction Management from North Carolina State University, graduating in 1999. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they received a certification in Safety Inspection of In Service Bridges from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). In 2005, they became a licensed Professional Engineer through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. The same year, they completed the Dispute Review Board Administration and Practice certification from the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation. In 2006, they attained certifications in Project Management Fundamentals from the International Institute for Learning, and in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-00700 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
