Phil Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Phil has worked as the Director of Safety and Security at The Cottages Senior Living & Memory Care since 2023, overseeing training and maintenance of critical infrastructure. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Maintenance and Safety at The Cottages on Golden Pond and The Cottages at Meadowlands from 2015. In this role, they ensured excellence in assisted living and memory care. Phil also worked as a Disaster Preparedness Coordinator at AmeriCorps from 2015 to 2016. Phil has held various maintenance and directorial positions at retirement communities and gained experience in web design and sales representation earlier in their career.
Phil Anderson attended Marshfield Wisconsin HS from 1976 to 1978. Phil then attended Wittenberg/Birnamwood HS, where they graduated in 1979.

Our Mission The Cottages believes in a resident’s right to choose regardless of one’s physical condition or circumstance. Each Tenant deserves a right to privacy, respect, and confidentiality and each tenant has the right to expect professional care. A person’s total well-being is the primary focus of the care provided by The Cottages. Our belief is to provide assistance with compassion, respect and dignity to those older adults who once may have been the leaders in our community. The Cottages believe in assisting the “whole” person and that our Tenants’ needs may be reached beyond the physical element. We believe in supporting the whole family by providing the assistance that is needed on a day to day basis. This allows our Tenants to have quality time with families and the freedom to enjoy each other. Our wish is to become a valuable community asset, but the success of The Cottages will be measured by personal satisfaction and happiness expressed by our Tenants, families, and staff.
