Alex West Steinman

Alex West Steinman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alex is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Coven since January 2017. Steinman was a 2019 Bush Fellow at the Bush Foundation starting in April 2019.

In 2018, they worked as a Coach at iFundWomen until March 2020. Previously, Steinman served as the Communications Director for Betsy Hodges for Minneapolis Mayor from July 2017 to November 2017.

Alex also held the position of Communications Director for Jillia Pessenda's Minneapolis City Council Ward 1 race from January 2017 to November 2017. In this role, they were responsible for developing messaging strategies and executing various communication tactics.

Steinman gained experience at Fallon, where they were the Communications Director from May 2016 to August 2017. Alex also worked as an Account Supervisor from January 2014 to May 2016 and as an Account Manager from November 2011 to January 2014. While at Fallon, they managed client relationships, led creative processes, and supported internal strategic and creative projects.

Additionally, they worked as an Intern at Carmichael Lynch Spong from June 2011 to November 2011 and as a Mass Communications Intern at Comcast Communications from June 2007 to August 2010. In these roles, they gained experience in various departments, including corporate affairs, project management, production, advertising, and human resources.

Alex West Steinman attended the University of Minnesota from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism-Strategic Communications. Additionally, Alex pursued a minor in Spanish Studies during their time at the university.
