Lauree Handlon

Lauree Handlon, MHA, RHIA, currently serves as the Vice President of Reimbursement Policy at The Craneware Group since February 2024. Previously, Lauree worked at Cleverley + Associates from July 2002 to February 2024 as the Director of Data Quality & Reimbursement, focusing on analyzing third-party payer contractual arrangements and conducting Charge Description Master reviews. Lauree has experience in academia as an Adjunct Instructor at The Ohio State University, teaching courses in Healthcare Financial Management and Healthcare Revenue Life Cycle Management from 2019 to 2022. Early career experience includes serving as Team Lead for Outpatient Coding & Auditing at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where Lauree enhanced data accuracy by resolving coding errors. Lauree holds multiple degrees in health administration and management, including a Master of Health Administration and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at MUSC College of Health Professions.
