Kevin Kavanaugh

Kevin Kavanaugh is an experienced electronic technician currently working at The Critical Mass - Sustainable Security & Defense since January 2024, following a role as a Ground Based Technician at Kira Aerospace for the NASA Sounding Rocket Program from August to December 2023. Kevin's extensive career began as a Technician at Ohmic Filters, Inc., progressing through roles including Applications Engineer and RF Design Engineer at K&L Microwave, where expertise in chip and wire filter networks and RF filter assemblies was developed. Previous positions also include EMI/Tempest Filter Engineer at Filter Networks Inc., and Electronics Instructor at Wor-Wic Community College, where a curriculum was developed in collaboration with K&L. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics/Microelectronics from Salisbury University and has pursued coursework for a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
