Gwen Winslow is an experienced finance professional with a strong background spanning over 25 years in financial services. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations at Literacy for Environmental Justice since September 2021, Gwen also holds the position of Finance Manager at The Crucible. As the founder and owner of a self-employed financial services business, Gwen has provided critical financial and analytical support to a diverse clientele since 1998. Gwen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from San Francisco State University between 1988 and 1991.

The Crucible is a nonprofit educational facility that fosters a collaboration of Arts, Industry and Community. Through training in the fine and industrial arts, The Crucible promotes creative expression, reuse of materials, and innovative design while serving as an accessible arts venue for the general public.
