Wassim Karkabi

Wassim Karkabi is a highly experienced executive with a significant background in leadership, board governance, and executive search. Currently serving as Managing Partner and Board Director for Stanton Chase in the Middle East and Greater China, Karkabi oversees the Industrial & Energy Practice while managing a team and a substantial budget. Karkabi is also the Founder and Non-Executive Chairman of the Global Board Institute, where attention is directed towards strategic growth and board-readiness education. In addition, Karkabi co-founded Spantrek and serves as Non-Executive Chairman for both Spantrek and Data Slot, focusing on governance and board selection in the PropTech sector. Other roles include Chair of the Middle East for AESC, Managing Partner for Hofstede Insights in the MENA region, and various board positions aimed at enhancing SaaS and corporate governance. Karkabi holds an MBA from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of La Verne.
