Ian Whitehead

Ian Whitehead has a range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity, starting in 2012. Ian worked as a PSO Technician at GMC Software Technology from July 2012 to October 2013. Ian then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise in October 2013, where they worked as a Cyber Security Consultant until April 2017. After that, they worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at DXC Technology from April 2017 to January 2018. In January 2018, they joined Auriga Consulting Ltd as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, but left in June 2018. Currently, they are working as a Principal Consultant at Cyberfort Group, starting in June 2018.

Ian Whitehead completed a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Forensic Computing from Canterbury Christ Church University from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended New College Nottingham from 2007 to 2009, but the degree name and field of study are unknown. Ian also completed their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) from Farnborough School Nottingham between 2002 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Ian Whitehead obtained several certifications. These include Senior CCP SIRA from APMG International in 2019, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in March 2022, CISSP from (ISC)² in December 2017, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in November 2015. The exact month of obtaining the Senior CCP SIRA certification is unknown.
