Redeeta Raisa is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in various editorial and curatorial roles. Currently serving as a Night Editor, Night Deputy Editor, Sports Copy Chief, and Night Copy Editor at The Daily Californian since February 2023, Redeeta is also an Exhibition Curator at the UC Berkeley Library, where involvement includes curating exhibitions related to Dalit political movements and South Asian women feminists. As a DeCal Facilitator at UC Berkeley, Redeeta teaches courses on young adult literature. With a background in finance as the Director of Finance for the Bangali Students Association and editorial support roles including Editorial Assistant for the American Communication Journal, Redeeta has diverse skills in communication and design. Previous experience includes video production for Voice of America and leadership roles in various educational and social organizations. Redeeta is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
